On the south-east side of Paros, 5 km from Lefkes is the village of Prodromos, a small community of white washed homes, charming churches and monasteries. It has taken its name from the local parish church “Aghios Ioannis tou Prodromou” (Saint John the Baptist) that was built in the 17th century and hosts many antique icons and a beautiful wooden iconostasis.
The village, with its bougainvillea’s and its cheerful inhabitants is ready to offer generous portions of traditional Parian hospitality to every visitor. You will find coffee houses and taverns to refresh yourself.
